Well I got this harness for my cat so I could take it outside and it was working fine but it decided to take off and jump up in the air and shook the harness off. I was chasing after my cat and in the process tripped and feel. I was in horrific pain. I couldn't even manage to get myself up. I had to scream for someone in the house to come help me. I got up and was in the worst pain I have ever been in. I have broke bones when I was younger but this was just horrible. I went to the ER not being able to move my arm at all and my shoulder was sticking up above my back. When I got there they immediately gave me dilaudid IV and it didn't even help. They did X-rays and said it was dislocated. The doctor came in and yanked it a couple times and set in in place and OMG that was the only relief I received. This was 3 days ago it's feeling better but still in some pain. I go wed to see another doctor to see if there was any other damange. I just want to say if you ever dislocate your shoulder you will know it, it hurts soo bad.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Glad you got it fixed up.
Gentle hug for you sweetie...x
Thanks a heap!!!! Now I'm walking around, deathly afraid of tripping and dislocating my shoulder!!!! LOL!!!
No, seriously, I'm sorry this happened to you!!!
I have heard that before -- that when a dislocated joint gets popped back into place, a great amount of relief is instantaneous!!
But what about the 'couple of yanks' you got first?!??!
That part sounds HORRIBLE!!!!!
Hahahahaha!!!! Cats and harnesses!!!!
Cats are pretty good at getting out of ANYTHING they don't like, aren't they!!!?
I trust the kitty is okay and back safe at home?!!
I hope this is no damage, fortunately I didn't have an ill effect and its never happen again : )
