hi,
i haven't written here in a while, but am really having a hard time right now. i have been taking lamictal for a year or so now, and geodon with it, for the past few months. my moods seem more stable when it comes to being up or down, but i have been experiencing crippling anxiety. that is new. i hadn't had a panic attack in ten years, and now i can hardly get through a day without one. i am going to be coming off of the lamictal within the next couple of weeks, as it is causing severe cystic acne as a side effect. that has truly made me suicidal. i don't leave my house except for work. i can't bear to be seen. my face bleeds when i touch it. i have to take antibiotics twice daily.
since starting to taper off of the lamictal (past 4 days) i have been getting more depressed again. i can't figure out if it is the med change or the feelings about acne. or both.
i am not even sure what i am asking here. i think i just need to know that there are people out there who can relate.
i just don't know what comes next. i have taken every med there is.
i feel so afraid that things will just continue to spiral out of control. like there is nothing out there that can help.

this just validates my decision to not take it.
Going through withdrawls from old meds..side effects from new meds..do we ever know if we are coming or going?
In 1 year I had 8 med changes..that was a BAD year.
But keep trying,hopefully side effects will lessen,and you'll eventually find a good combo..good luck
also, roaccutane- which works.
& antibiotics. Topical, ingested.
The first two are the most aggressive treatments.
Also, buy a product with the ingredient "Salicylic acid" (ie/ nuetrogena range being cheapest option) It's brilliant for improving the complexion, everyone should use it x
Anyways, went to derm doc, took treatments (many year ago) I get complimented on my skin all the time, since then- these treatments work xx
