I walke dinto my Pdoc 's office for the first time, weighting in at a svelte 129 Lbs ..5' 8 "...maybe even skinny ?
Litium, Depakote , and anti psychotics have added to my weight enormously ...my diet hasn't changed....I DO NOT snack, I walk.
Still the weight won't come off.
Pdoc says I should NOT expect it to come off..the realities, many people just gain ...and that's the end of the story.
Ev, you are an exception ( having the opposite problem)
What I would like to see come back (besides being a size 4/6)....my energy level has bottomed out
But we're Here, so there's just more of us to love!! lol
(it's only fun til its not...)
I feel your pain, I'm no way near what I used to be, but we have to still try and love who we are now and keep moving towards our goals. ox
I know it's not easy, but one thing that really helped me was to look in the mirror, and tell myself things that i like, and it builds self-esteem, which helps to get rid of self-consciousness about weight
