old lady hit me with her car

I got hit by a car today at work leaving me bruised really badly. Old lady wasnt watching what she was doing and her tire grazed my right foot.

Not to discriminate on age, there are bad drivers of all ages, but once you reach a certain age licensing should become more stringent. Having said that, watching my grandma try and fail twice to renew her license (due to accidents) was heartbreaking, they really do lose a lot of their independence.

Justward. I feel sorry this happened to you.
It does seem like you got off fairly easy. Glad you did.
Your incident reminds back in August 2003 a woman friend rushed across the street from her house to greet a woman friend. Her friend was just getting off the bus. I feel my woman friend was incredibly foolish not to look both ways. However that not make it any less what happened to her. A driver of a car put on the accelerator instead of the brake. To cut to the chase she was killed. Please excuse me if feel bitter. At least you're alive.
