Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

You can get through this, we all can. Just need to be supportive of one another.
Please take care and I hope you feel better soon.
I went through a similar experience a while ago with my family, and all of the messed up things I did to them kept playing in my mind like a broken tape player. They forgive me but it was a long time before I could forgive myself. My own mom had to drag me out of bed and tell me to snap out of it before I was fully able to realize what was going on. So you see, we can grow from these experiences or we can let them be our undoing. Most of the time we choose the latter because it's much easier to sulk in our own sorrow than to pick ourselves up by our bootstraps and move on.
Anyways, sorry to hear about your dog, I had a beagle growing up and eat really tore me up when he passed away. But try not to get caught up in the moment.
Paranoia speaking now..Calus..you have never acknowledged me although I have spoken to you and hugged. Why, I wonder?
I too have lost a lot of people in my life due to bp and my behavior. My husband says that if they can't try to understand then it's their loss. All I could do was apologize. If it's not accepted, you must move on.
Remember that you're a great person and fallible just like everyone else.
Hugs
