So I can't stop thinking about all of the bad things that have happened this week. Actually even good things where I felt insecure and like I made an ass of myself are rattling around in there too. It's like a broken record in my head. I've taken the klonopin that is prescribed as needed, as well as my as needed seroquel.
Things are so overwhelming that I cut myself (they're just scratches really) for the first time in 15 years.
I think I'm angry about a few things and since I do not do angry very well, I internalize everything.
I know there are si and anxiety boards, but all of this is happening with weird mood shifts which makes me think it's a beeper thing.
I'm not suicidal so I'm not headed to the hospital as of yet, and the soonest I can see my pdoc is Wed.
I really don't want to make a big deal about the si thing anyway. It's a symptom of something but, like I said, my car has nailed me worse than these. The only reasons I'm concerned is a) I did it, and b) I got the high off it.
I'm sorry if this triggered anyone. I just really needed to share this, and like I said, the roller coaster mood swings make me think this is a bp thing. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, thanks for reading this!

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

First, try the stop thoughts method. It sounds dumb, but can work. When bad thoughts pop in your head say STOP (out loud if you are alone). After you say stop think of something positive, even i it's just a beautiful place you can picture yourself being in.
I used to be a cutter. I cut about 4 months ago and thankfully it was not the same. I think because I have kids. I felt so ashamed and embarrassed that my children would see. I was so scared that I actually cut again. So, I know how you feel right now.
Keep that appointment with your Dr. on Wednesday and call every morning to see if there are cancellations. Plus, a lot of places have therapists who can see you as a crisis situation. That happened to me a couple weeks ago.
Until then, distract your thoughts. STOP them. Come here and talk. We are all here for you!
