So as a man in the blue collar arena of work, pictures of beautiful women scantily clad posing in suggestive ways show up all the time. Now I truly appreciate the female form, and while I may glance at them while there, I am uncomfortable owning or possessing something with a woman on it in such a manor. The only time I ever had something like that was when I was 15 I had a poster with women in swimsuits and when I was 18 I had an air freshener that said haulin ass on it. Now I am a very sensitive man. I also had almost no male influence growing up and was the middle child between two sisters. My question is for the guys, do you ever feel the same about such paraphanelia, or is this a situation of upbringing rather than from my Bipolar.

For me, those lude things don't bother me. But that's just cuz I think political correctness is a bit overboard.

As for your quandary though....i bet it has to do with both. You would certainly have a diff outlook towards woman than most guys & your sensitivity could be linked to the BP.

so long as no one got hurt/exploited making these images, doesn't bother me....it can be this weird puritanical backlash that I have no time for..that said, not a fan of the ladette girls gone wild chicks porning selves out, thing in our society currently,to show how 'liberated' they are either...yet, contradictions abound, a bit of kinky old school burlesque appeals...*sigh* Very Complicated topic.

Yeah this seems like more of a personal choice than a BP thing. You seem to have more apprecitaion of the whole woman than most.Seeing more than just what meets the eye.

As a woman I am not offended by pictures of naked women or things like that my hubby gets his playboy mag monthly and I enjoy checking thm out. To me it sounds like a personal choice, m aybe the way you were taught growning up. To me it sounds like you are a little over sensitive about it. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look at a beautiful women in a sexual way. It is human nature and a beautiful thing to enjoy our bodies and their beauty.

Actually, pictures like that in the work place are called "sexual harassment in the workplace." Doesn't matter what gender you are. Can't have them there.

Now, if you want to look at them in the privacy of your own home, that is your own business. I think maybe the comfort level is linked to how graphic the pictures are. They can range from porn to fine art, depending on what they are. And I think maybe your upbringing might have some impact on what you are comfortable with.
