Bipolar Disorder Support Group

so I went to a new pdoc last week and found out that I am DID as well as the pdoc is thinking schizoaffective or schizophrenic. this is blowing me all ways from Sunday. its got me questioning everything I knew about bipolar. he put me on one new med and I have an appointment next week because he wants to monitor closely and change one med at a time. I think I will end up liking him. but today I had my first appointment with a new therapist, because the other therapist was not experienced in the things I now need her to be. I like this one as well, but I don't want to lose the other therapist and I am kind of wondering if my insurance will cover both. I hope so. I am going to ask the one this weekend because I forgot to ask the new one today.

I'd go with it as long as things don't get worse.

I was once, and only once, diagnosed with Borderline Personal Disorder and they had me convinced it was on my list of diagnoses. That was years ago and ruled out not long after when my symptoms were consistently monitored and logged by myself and my team of providers.
Keep logs of symptoms at all times - it will help them treat you effectively.
My pdoc just before the one I have informed me at our last visit that all of my meds were "correct" and my lack of improvement was my fault. The nerve! I should have slapped him!
I'm so glad you've got a good one!
