Weird title because I didn't want to annoy anybody by rambling about my clothes and whatever else without specifying "OFF TOPIC" but then talking about my medicine is kinda important/on topic??? Idk.
I went to the psychiatrist today. The low budget sliding-scale healthcare psychiatrist, anyway. Or as my aunt calls it, "FuckYouCare" loooool.
I wore a face mask covering my nose and mouth so I wouldn't get anybody else in the place sick, considering I got sick from standing 3-4 feet away from a sick guy for 10 seconds.
And I wouldn't wish this-what-I-have-right-now on anybody.
(by the way the WebMD app is glitching up bad right now and I hate it)
But anyways the pdoc, as you guys call them, put me on Depakote and Wellbutrin. She took off the Vistaril and kept the Gabapentin, which I kinda had to fight for because apparently Depakote with Wellbutrin with Gabapentin isn't usually done, but Gabapentin is kinda my power player right now even though it admittedly doesn't do d*** about my mood swings or personality incohesive-ness.
Does this sound like a good combination? I think so. I'm iffy about Wellbutrin honestly but it's the only non-narcotic option for my narcolepsy (? speculated) right now, I think. Caffeine and B-vitamins just don't do it for me anymore, and I've seen it help a fair share of people with stubborn depressive episodes.
I'm not too worried about being thrown into manic (from the Wellbutrin) because my hopes for ever experiencing manic again right now are very low. It's been a very long time. More than a year.
I'll be picking those up probably tommorow or friday maybe. Even though I have to go to the Cobb Galleria on Friday for an early childhood care & education seminar. (Guess I'll have to wear a face mask there too huh?)
All my new clothes are arriving. I love them. Gahhhhhhh. All black stuff. Makes me so happy.
If you look at my shoes and clothes it looks like 2-3 (easily) people live in my room. I got some Underground UK creepers and platform combat boots.
And some jeans that.... don't fit. Ahhh. THEY'RE WAY TOO LONG. :c And there's a lot of extra space and loose fabric. I'll have to get them tailored. But that's typical for me because my body shape is kind of strange.
I'm not big on nerd merchandise but I do love Yu-Gi-Oh, and so I'm really looking forward to my Yugioh tank top getting here and I hope I ordered the correct size, because sizing charts online are very arcane and difficult to decipher, so I kind of took a guess.
Oh. And my backpack. It makes my stuff feel so light because of the weight being evenly distributed on my back, which is cool because I've just been carrying a laptop case, duffle bag, and handbag together, which causes shoulder pain.
So yea. Idk. Pretty exciting stuff. I dunno. I feel like I should probably be more ecstatic, but I guess that's depression for you, right?

I take Wellburtin and it works okay with my depression because if I dont I will be up all night. I was on Wellburtin and Depakote at the same time for a short period. I was allergic to Depakote so I don't know how they work together. Then again all people react differently to medications.
I hope the new med cocktail works for you. It is a pain to find the right combination of meds.
As for meds, if you tolerate them well and they work for you, that's what counts! each person is unique...
New clothes for women. What can I say? It is one of the things that make life worth living. Invest in a good belt if you don't have one. Hike those jeans up to your natural waist and belt them. Cuff the bottoms up high enough to look like ankle jeans. Then put on your platforms. All these things combined will also hike your ass up real high and make you look oooo-la-la!!!!!
