does anyone take this? Is your mouth horribly dry? I have been taking it three times a day and my mouth is so dry that I have sores. I think I may stop taking it

Hello TC, I am currently on Neurontin 900 mg daily and I have not experienced dry mouth. However, I feel that I am more balanced on this medication and I like it. How do you feel it helps your bipolar otherwise?

Get Biotene Spray for Dry Mouth. It works great. You need to be careful as a dry mouth will cause tooth problems. I'm on Elavil and my mouth has been dry for years!

It's always a matter with meds where what side effects are you willing to deal with verssus what side effects can you not abide in picking the right meds. Because there will be side effects.

I was put on Neurontin while in an inpatient detox for the duration the time I was there as a way to detox me off of alcohol, certainly off-label too whatever the bipolar people are taking it for although they may have given it to me because I told them I was Schizoaffective.

I take 600mg at night to help me sleep - it lasts about 4 hours - ugh.

I take in twice a day, 300mgs. I had dry mouth for yearsand lost all my upper teeth. Try the biotin spray. My son uses it too. I am on bipolar other meds thats also caused my teeth b to go bad, and yes I brushed my teeth! Alot of people dont understand what meds can do.
