First off I think I posted this in crisis and I'm not really in a crisis right now. Yesterday was a different story, very different.
I went to a graduation and party yesterday. We left early am and I took my meds but forgot my 2.5mg of Saphris. I was fine for awhile because of my Ritalin. Then at the graduation I began to feel weird and out of it. I waited till my niece walked the stage and then went outside. I had to get away by myself and I normally would never do this at a family function. Then we went to the restaurant. I really began to feel out of it there. I was saying strange things to friends and family and I could feel them looking at my strangely.
I was so agitated and completely and physically disintegrating. All I wanted to do was run away, sleep on the floor or hide under the table. Such a strong desire! Finally we left to go home which was two hours away. During the drive I continued to feel even more horrible. I just wanted to scream for my husband to pull over so I could sleep or I even wanted to go to the hospital! My sons were in the back seat and they and my husband knew something was wrong. Only by the grace of God did I somehow maintain. It was pretty hard. I curled up in a fetal position with my hands over my eyes and my hair covering up my ears. I was in a seriously bad way. After we got home I took my meds and two hours later took my blood pressure and realized it must've been really high during the day.
So what do you guys think? Could it have been some kinda breakdown? I took my saphris last night and this am and I'm feeling better. Could it have been me not taking my saphris yesterday am? All I know is I have not felt like that since I had an actual breakdown 3 years ago. Thank you! Sweet dreams~~~irishrooster

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I don't think you had a breakdown... I think you were feeling unwell, confused and felt you had to maintain due to the circumstances and it was a huge amount of stress/anxiety for you...It sounds like some panic to me
I'm glad you made it home safely... Big hug and a blessing...xo
When dealing with bipolar it can be triggered by a combination of meds and situations, usually being stresses like anxiety. If untreated this will cause you to relapse. How long depends on the situation and the effectiveness of your meds.
The meds Im on are slow release and long lasting, but I understand some meds have a much shorter life, skipping one or two doses can mean the difference of being well or unwell.
Be careful, may mean a med adjustment if social anxiety is tipping you over. See your pdoc
