My Trip to the ER

Hey guys. I had to make another trip to the ER last night. This time it was for me. I have/had a red, very sore and painful, and warm to the touch knot on my left lower leg. I got worried that it might be a blood clot vs. just an infection. They drew blood and took a chest xray because I was wheezing. Blood work looked good. Doc sent me home telling me it is an infection.

Put me on TWO super-strong antibiotics twice a day x 10 days. He also wrote me a few pain pills. Gotta pick them up from CVS today when they open. Anyways, that's about it from base here. Hope you all have a wonnerful day!!

Chelle -- sorry you have an infection. I hope you are better quickly. I'm glad that they prescribed some antibiotics for you. Sometimes, we feel better a few days after starting medications.

Do you have Cellulitus? Whatever it is, it sounds bad enough -- must be serious enough to require that kind of medicine! I hope it's not giving you grief!!! Hope the pain pills do the trick!!!
