Awm I made talon feel bad, cause I always talk about David as being my love. I can't help it, David is my world, my one true love, I can never love another person like I love my son. My love is so strong, I can accomplish anything in his name, I can do anything for him, I can give all of me, to him. My strength, my compassion, my love. He is all the good I am, or ever can be, in one perfect little package. He is my world! I truly feel if I ever lost him, my life would be over. I can't live without my love, my little boy, he is my protector (from myself) as much as I am fiercely his from anything that can harm him.
Admittedly there are times, when I fall into a hole, and I curse myself for having children. Mainly because I feel it is unfair to them to have my genetics and to be brought into such a painful world.... fortunately, I know that these are unhealthy thoughts and I always manage to ride through them. Always battling something!

You put into words beautifully the simple and complete devotion between a parent and a child. I'm excited for my daughters to experience it one day too.
I hope that you will always feel this adoration as your son grows up to become a man and your relationship will invariably change over the years. There is such unspeakable joy at each and every stage.
