Bipolar Disorder Support Group

This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Do you ignore your spouse to spend time online? Do you cancel plans to spend more time online? Basically do you let go of anything in your life in order to spend more time online?
The problem is, we can become addicted to it like anything else and we have to be careful, very careful. I dont think that the last few weeks this board has been a very good influence for anyone with all the trolling, drinking etc. Sometimes when others are drinking and talking openly about it in a fun way, we are encouraged to also. I get what she's saying....but at the same time, I come on here to find people who understand me. My family doesn't know what's going on with me, and neither do my friends. They try to understand, but unless you're going through something yourself, you can't fully understand. I hope this makes sense....
