Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I'm depressed and scared. I feel like someone people would hate. I'm having imaginary fears. I know part of this is because Covid-19 is going on so long. It seems like it will never end. They told us a year ago it would last 2 or 3 months but its gone on a year. It's hard to get a dose of vaccine. The news lies to us constantly about what is going on. They say there is vaccine but the next day there isn't.
They tell us things are open but their not. Things are still a mess. I don't know how much more I can take.
Something I enjoy seeing is that the daffodils have bloomed. Such a sunny yellow. They are a sign of Spring.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Yes COVID is scary, but its going to be here for a while, probably into 2022, so we have to learn to live with precautions and how to keep ourselves safe and happy. We can't look at it as this scary thing that's attacking us....its kind of like when AIDS first became a thing, everyone was terrified and people became outcasts, unfairly, because of a virus they had. Now we've got HIV under control and people live normal healthy lives.
COVID will become another virus that we all learn to live with, it's just a tough little son of a gun that's making us work for that vaccine. Vaccines are rolling out at a pretty solid rate. In the U.S. 57,000,568 have gotten their first shot, and 29,789,477 have gotten their 2nd shot. Those are pretty good numbers, since Trump was basically doing nothing to vaccinate our Country.
The CDC is doing their best at trying to predict when this will end and things an back to some semblance of the normal life we had before. Unfortunately with States like Texas, Mississippi and North Dakota just wiping their hands of COVID and throwing their doors open wide with NO restrictions in replace...those places are going to see things get a lot worse before anything gets better. Luckily the Mayors see how ridiculous the Governors are being.
As for news I pick 1 channel broadcast per day to listen to and that's it, otherwise you never know what to believe and the stress can drive you nuts. I listen to Anderson Cooper 360 each night, because he's reputable, he tells it like it is, and I've listened to him for years. Other than that I check my local weather on my phone. its to hard to get sucked into all the political crap if you listen to too many stations.
I hoe you have a wonderful day in the "springy" weather. I'm tempted to start planting, but I jumped the gun the last 2 years and ended up living with a kitchen full of garden plants for a week or so....So this year I shall be patient!!

With regards to vaccine's they do run out and then get more .. So I don't think it's lies... I think everyone is doing the best that they can
Maybe get out and have a nice walk daily... Get some sun
I only listen to the news for a short time now so I'm not overwhelmed .. It's what works best for me
Gentle hug and a blessing.... The world is working it's way through this with some great people working hard.... xo
I went out for a long walk today and it was sunny and beautiful. I recommend a walk outdoors if you can.
I decorated my walls with some cool photography to forget the memory.
Happy Tuesday!!
It's kind of rough times I hear you on the vaccine. I felt the same way everyone was getting it except me but then the window opened and I got the first one I will get the second one tomorrow.
Life does change Jenn everything just seems stuck when you are on the down side. What to do? Be as kind to yourself as you can manage and drink lots of water it does help with fatigue!
I don't think I will ever look at a daffodil in the same way. Hopefully, will think of what they mean to you.
I hope you have at least one person in your bubble (or whatever people are calling the people they can be with during this time) who can share some good times with you.
IF you can I encourage you to watch some humorous treatment of some aspect of the pandemic. I may not have survived the last year (figuratively speaking) without Sarah Cooper.
Rumina (who was in a big hurry when she picked this name and hopes to change it soon.)
