Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Anyway, am in the middle of reading. Something I am Pondering, is a subtle connection between many things. Not that they are Alike, or even close (please note) - but there is Some sort of connection between the body's response to things - for example:
(A) We take medications of Many sorts - for MI, or for pain, or for sore throats, flu etc - and our bodies often either get Used to the meds and develop a Tolerance (so we change doses or types), or we may become more sensitive or even Allergic to them.
(B) Our brains are 'developing' symptoms of MI until we are in our teens or early 20's sometimes, and as our brains develop we often become more sensitive (or dramatically so!) to certain stimuli in life, in a way that is opposite to becoming 'desensitized' or even Numb to things.
(C) Many people with illnesses that are not categorized as MI (because the illnesses Aren't MI) still find that what they could eat, drink or ingest in any form, or things that affect their 5 senses in General, etc seems to change because of growing intolerance within their bodies - or in some cases, a growing Tolerance so that things must continually be adjusted to Work properly.
Sound common? Of Course, because we understand one or two things out of all this, that Apply. But I wonder if there is not an underlying Principle at work here that prohibits us from "predictability" in Everything, we just can't correlate how things are related yet. ...just as even this mother and daughter (in the article) could not Predict how unstable she would become, even with the openness and preparation.
Hmmmm. (Now I'll be up all night Thinking)
