Im having a shit of a day today, slept through my last therapy appointment. Now i have no 'real' support system. Im also really missing friends iv lost rather to or because of this freaking disease. Please dont say they werent friends in the first place, if i lost them due to this disease cuz im the one who walked away, i found it to hard to be friends with people & have this disease, to much explaining. Im just at a loss & missing...

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Don't assume people don't like you because of the disease. I know how tough that is, some days.

...But the massive majority of all peoples friends over time go their own ways....
...For me, all my teen and 20 friends had the common bond of partying....
...That bond broke and the in-common thing between us went away...
...Some decided a new group of friends was better time spent....Others got married and decided to shed old friendship bonds...Some died...Some moved...Many friends I know got labeled bi-polar or schizo....This did not bring us back together as friends with a bond....
....Alone is lonely and even sometimes when some one is with you, you are still lonely....
....I do not know?...
....Many friends of old I miss according to how we were in those days....But time has changed us all and our views and wants....
....It would be like sending a old friend reunion bond party invite out....Some would not even reply....Others would have no interest at all...
....Being bi-polar is not a friendship destroyer....If I am in fact bi-polar all those friends I had were my friends when I had bi-polar....I still have the exact same bi-polar but those friends are long gone....
....I would not trip on blaming bi-polar for the friends going their own ways....Time does this to all.....
in your heart until it happens on your beautiful face too !!!
I hear you..
I just told Will today that I am pissed as hell at how much time this illness has taken away from my life. I know how you feel, you are so not alone Dee......time with the kids especially is the time I get upset over the most. I love you to bits and hope you feel better real soon. ox
I have called and rekindled good friends.
I also learned, I was the one explaining over and over, they didn't push or ask...its part of our sickness to explain, over and over and over - till we are embarrassed and ashamed...
For me, I talk all that "lost and depressed stuff" with my MI friends, and my good friends that I partry with, I'll make a Bipolar joke, but do not tell them about - the chair, the phone, the pain or my sleep! They will listen, but WHY? They don't talk about their sleep twice a day to me! LOL
We have to create a life we want - pick a friend, and get them back! If you want friends, be a friend!!!! Pick up that damn PHONE!!!!!
You are much loved online and off! Let me remind you, as you seem to have forgot - again! LOL : ) xxo
I tend to do the same thing at times..
I hope you feel better soon...xoxo
