Good luck on the job part. We all need money.
And had some great jobs .
My last job was working for a high end Department store, I worked there for 18 years .
Now , since my breakdown, I am on SSDI.
I flirt around with the idea of finding some nice easy job to do....then I get all panicky , I just don't think I'm up for working any more
I haven't worked in a while, but am gonna try here soon. After I get a couple of things worked out. Think I will make friends there...well, at least I hope. In the past, I usually have made a friend or two at work.
I had to work in finding ways to make friends. Still need to make a few, I guess. Over time, some move away. I am not even out of the town in which I was born. *SAD* So, anyway, long-time, life-long friends live elsewhere right now.
But, I have made friends thru church. If you're not a church person, find some groups/clubs that include things you're interested in and could discuss with other folks there, and make some friends. Maybe like a cooking or photography class?
I have made some friends because my son has a friend who he hangs with a lot, and I end up meeting the parents.
I have wondered about attending DBSA or NAMI groups and making friends there, but I also wonder if a fellow BP friend that you see in person and not thru the internet, would be too much of looking in the mirror? But I don't know about that.
Anyway, just thinking out loud. Good luck.
(((hugs)))
