hi, I didn't have migraines until a few years back, ie after I was 50.

there's a migraine board it's not hugely active but you might ask there

i've had migraines off and on since i was 12...43 years now. for them to start now, i would first check any new meds you may be on. headaches are a common side effect, and i have found some of those to be full blown migraines. if that's not the case, you may need to see your gp and possibly a neurologist. there are many meds that can prevent them or treat them.

I don't equate migraines with BP. I get the occasional migraine and I treat it with 1,000 mg aspirin. Have you checked your blood pressure lately? It might need to be lowered.

I started to get migraines a few years back, but over the last few months, they've gotten a lot worse.

What helps for me is to take some Excedrin Migraine and drink something with caffeine and/or get some sleep.

I get them but the doctors have always told me they are hormonal.

Migraines and Vertigo since I started Xanax . I had small headaches that would show up and then disappear when I started this med and just overlooked them...

Going to Dr today. So dizzy can hardly stand up sometimes since the beginning of last week ,but Sunday was the worse. This started when she changed my dosage. I was put on a .1 mg twice a day but needed a rescue drug so she put on .05 mg 4 times a day.

I had this problem earlier this year. Went to all kinds of Drs. all kinds of tests. It went away on its own.

Never had a migraine in my whole life. It's got to be the meds
I wasn't taking Xanax before when I had my other event, but this is the only new med I'm on so..

Glad I'm going Dr today while a relatively stable.

I have had migraines since I was 19. It wasn't until I was put on Topamax when I was dx. I was on it for weight management (didn't help) however, I did have the benefit of no migraines for 5 years while I was on it! Feel better and good luck.

It's not Xanax. Just prone to Vertigo.

Yes, I've had migraines since I was 14. They just have been really bad recently and I wanted to know of anyone else had this too.
