Fair warning if you have a weak stomach please don't read this if you can't hear about bodily functions. Also, I have posted the same thing in every group I am a part of in hopes of getting help so if you are a part of the same groups no need to read further if you've read one they're all the same.
I've had this migraine since October 6th. I've been to 3 different doctors regarding this and they all say the same thing. There is no infection or anything abnormal with my blood work so they all say I'm possibly dehydrated. It makes no sense since I've drank so much water that I feel like I'm on the verge of having too much water. I have that feeling of if I take one more sip of water it will involuntarily come out of every oriface in my body. I am not exaggerating either. I know that you can drink too much water and I feel I have reached my limit. I have also tried Gatorade and Powerade. My migraine is so bad that I have been vomiting and have lost my appetite. I have been given a pee test and blood test for pregnancy and both are negative. I've lost some weight, but have managed to not loose an unhealthy amount during this time. I've been given a shot that was supposed to help with my nausea which is a major symptom for me during this migraine the shot didn't work. I was also given a rx medicine that didn't help (the name escapes me). This and the shot were given at the first Dr. I went to see.
The second Dr. I went to see was my OBGYN because I thought maybe I was pregnant as the stress from the migraine apparently affected the flow of my cycle. Pee test was negative blood work was taken and all negative. She suggested I try taking an over the counter nausea liquid (name of this escapes me as well) for some reason I'm wanting to thing it's emetrol, but can't be 100%.
The 3rd place I went was to the ER. this was on October 23rd I was fed up from feeling so queezy and having no answers. I figured surely going to the ER I would get an answer. Blood work was drawn and X-rays of my stomach were done because by this time I was very constipated and what would come out was a concrete grey color. After being questioned about several things they came to the conclusion that I was perhaps dehydrated. I felt like screaming! They did give me a RX for Phenergan which did allow me to rest the first time I took it. Another symptom I forgot to mention was that I could not sleep for more than an hour to two hours per night and I was not tired in the slightest.Once I took the Phenergan the first night and I got some much needed and deserved sleep I started to slowly feel better each day.
About a week after the visit I started feeling the migraine come back along with some nausea. Each time I feel it come on I have taken a Phenergan and each time I take it it seems to be less and less effective. Out of 18 pills I have taken 6 since the 23rd of October. I am the kind of person that is terrified of taking meds. Especially ones of this magnitude.
Something else is during the day I have a very mild headache, but at night it seems to intensify. I'm not sure why?
I'm so frustrated because I am sitting here typing this with a migraine and would just like to know why it won't go away. I've had this going on for almost a month and I'm about ready to cry. At one point when it was really bad I told my husband that I didn't think I could make it to the next day. I honestly felt like just giving in to my body and saying please just kill me or something. I'm not quite that bad now, but I am seriously sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Any help would be considered a godsend.

Can you ask your reg. doc to request an MRI?
I was not told to follow up with a neurologist, but had they told me I definitely would have. They did tell me to follow up with my NP if it continues. I have been avoiding going to my NP simply because she is almost exactly an hour drive from my home and I would have to drive myself there and secondly I'm not exactly sure how much a NP could do in this situation. Thirdly she is in a different state than me which means the people she would know to refer me to would most likely also be out of state. I do live on the state line, but an hour drive is horrible when you don't feel well.
I have thought about changing to a different location, but I absolutely love my NP and have never had one that will sit for literally an hour or as long as it takes (which she does) to see how things are going and I don't want to loose that. So I'm kind of stuck.
I don't do dairy or eggs. I'm not allergic, but I have never liked them. If this gives you an idea of how much I consume dairy and eggs: 1 quart of milk would last me 4-5 months if it had no expiration date. A dozen eggs would also last that long if not longer if they had no expiration date. I have had allergy tests and am not allergic to anything other than dogs, cats and pollens which I have been getting allergy injections for.
