Wow..my weeks are going by so nicely. Compaired to my work at Amazon where I dreaded each time that I had to go into work. I could barely make it through a 4 day (10 hour shift) week.
Here my at home, and also in my bosses home office type work weeks are awesome. I am truely grateful and humble. I know what its like to goto a physical work space and have to grunt through very unapealing work duties.
I swtich off my working at home, between working then taking a break and chatting with a college friend via chat. Then back to work, and answering emails....then back to work....then looking online for a new laptop (for work)...then back to work...etc etc....
Tomorrow I go back into work (to his home office). I decided to use a portible hard drive to bring in the files that I am working on at home. So I can continue to work on them at his place.
Down the road (after a few paychecks) I will invest in a new laptop. A semi-powerful one. I really feel more comfortable using a Windows machine for work rather than the Macs he has there.
I am wating for Oct 5 to roll around, I plan on going up the Michigan for the fall colors. I will be staying two night. I already have the room reserved. A room, with a balcony opening up to the lake. I will also visit an island called Mackinac Island. Maybe I will rent a bike and ride around the island.
Looking forward to my mini road trip around Lake Michigan.. :)

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

So what programs are you using that will let you bop between Mac OPS and PC OPS with no bridging software between them? I can do it between work and home because my finance software is an Online base program, so it doens't care, and we use gmail email accounts. And the bank apps and programs are online and they don't care.
But I would think the type of Construction or Autocad type programs your using would be more terminal centered and require one OPS or the other.....
If I remember right, and it's been years...the only way to get around Mackinac is bike or foot travel, I don't believe there are any cars allowed on the Island. Its a pretty cool place, should be gorgeous in October.
Glad the job is going well. I don’t know how I’d adjust to an office job. Maybe it’d suit me ok, or at least half time in office. I’m getting too tired and achy. But I certainly don’t have your computer skills! Bravo to you for making things happen!
These spreadsheets can get involved. I am trying to remember all my trucks in Excel.
I am staying in St.Ignaus just over the bridge. I can't wait!
Yes Kisses, it's pretty up there.
I would only be going to his home office during training...so I would not need the laptop after that I think. Dunno what I should do. The laptop that I speced out is $1,100. aprox....
My boss offered to buy me a laptop, but I don't want to impose. Also it would be his laptop then. I actually would like a laptop down the road for road trips. We shall see. I am already in debt with my car payments......so not sure what I will do. I have PayPal Credit so I could use that. Hmm.
I'm so glad that it's been a worthwhile road...… Big hug....xo
Amen and I hope your Dad is pleased with your work record at this point!
Just thinking....
