I started feeling better once the meds kicked in for two-three weeks, now I'm having trouble getting out of bed again. I ake Abilify 10mg and Lexapro 20mg....I don't see the pdoc until the 11th.
I'm wondering is this how its always going to be, have a good week here and there and then back to a mixed episode or depression...are the good weeks that far and between?
I keep reading about people finding something in their spirituality...and I've been thinking about going back to that...I use to find peace there...but I have so many issues with things, it feels like another hassle or something else to disappoint me. I'm speaking defeat in everything now, before I even get started.
I can have a few good weeks without the medication, if its going to be like this....I start thinking liquor is cheaper...which isn't good because i can get carried away with it pretty fast. I've been taking pain pills lately and I don't physically need them but they make me feel better just for a few hours and thats better than nothing...yeah I know I shouldn't but...
I feel so hopeless....this feeling started when I found out my place of work is closing, I was going to quit anyway to go to school but maybe it was just the timing i don't know. I find it more useless to go back now just to be humiliated by nosy people. (I'm on short term disability now after a hospital stay suppose to return on the 14th). I have too much to think about. The other night I was up thinking of something someone did to me two years ago then got up accusing my husband of being distant and different...thats worked out now, but something is just not right with me, I'm starting to feel awful again.
People tell me that I'll still have bad days...ok well how do I tell when its just some bad days (turning into a week now) or the meds aren't working anymore???

it takes a while to adjust - it's too early to know if the meds need a tweak or not

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
