Well honestly I don't know for a fact abut this but since I have been on these meds my memory is VERY bad and just my learning abilities have declined. I will be talking to people or posting things and have to think several times how to spell very simple words.
Do you think these meds we have to take has an effect on learning and memory? I sure do..
I hope I can still spell my own name by the time I am 40. I am 30 now.

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

Had problems with organization of thoughts, memory, emotional regulation, anxiety, word recall, putting thoughts onto paper, etc...I was a mess on Invega.
Certain meds, certain moods I can't concentrate at all.
I see a parallel with older people and amnesia.Or the even scarier stuff.
I try not to dwell on it because the things you are good at you don't really notice so much till others comment on it.
I've learnt some things by just repeating and repeating way more than I know I would have otherwise.
It certainly feels like my brain has been carved out.

I know thorazine, haldol and ativan can do that to some people. Did to me, but then that was a one time lets inject him as if he is an elephant cause he just freaked out the whole hospital staff.
Can't remember crap either.
I blame it on the med's as surely it couldn't just be me. lol
