I've been on 400mg of Lamictal for... geesh....like...15ish years now? When I initially got on it it helped stabilize me like nothing else. I am a rapid cycler with bipolar, and I seem to recall it helped lessen the intensity of things. But Ive been on it long enough now that I honestly don't know how I'd feel if I got off it. I almost don't remember what being off it felt like.

You.have to be really careful to not miss doses, and it can cause a pretty serious skin rash so if that develops you need to see your doctor right away. It worked wonders for me. Hope it works great for you too.

Are you going straight from 150 to 300? Thats a big jump very fast? Normally its increased alot slower to stop risk of a rash?

I was on 400mg years ago and it was really helpful to me at higher doses. It dose have be increased and decreased really slowly though that is important.

I went to 200mg then they jumped me to 3 so far so good!!!! Once they get me off Effexor I have a feeling I’ll start to balance ouT!
