I did learn something about this AFTER I posted that yesterday. When talking to my mother I mentioned the post. To my surprise, she started laughing and said that while my BP could put a spin on things, there's a better chance I inherited these hormonal time bombs from her. Her advice was to take 15mins or so when I suddenly "cool down" to wait for the mood to come back. As for the "frenzy", she couldn't offer suggestions, she just said that I've probably seen her crying in the past for that reason and didn't know why... Thanks a bundle ma! I get the weirdest personality quirks from her (the BP comes from her side of the family too) LOL.
Thanks for the replies anyway :)
The urges (or in my case mainly lack of them) are horrid to live with and I attribute them entirely to bp.
I've come to terms with bipolar accepting I'm going to live with this for the rest of my life and am trying my utmost to do so with happiness and joy. A mood stabiliser has helped me with the extreme swings I used to have,
Hope that helps.
With love and light
