I'm in the middle of waiting to get another depression and I'm in the midlst of a monstrous depression. I'vve been having suicidal ideaton and bounce up into really wicked anxiety as well, basicall hypomnania.
About three months ago I lost my shrink of ten years and was transferred to another doc which put me into a state of constant anxiety. The new doc turned out to be super cool but after about three visits he told me I'd have to go to my family doc and get another referral for a new doc. He had to go home to take care of personal business and all the docs in the hospital I was going to were over booked anyway. Now I don't know how long it's going to take to get a new doc and my meds are starting to really crap out on me. I have no therapist to talk to, though I got a number to call from one of the sites I'm a member of I've lost it and so can't phone them for help. I need a psychiatrist to change up my meds anyway. A GP doesn't really have the background to treat someone who is treatment resistant so I'm wary of goning to my family doc.
Anyway, I'm really dropping like a stone now and I've been having a lot of thoughts of suicide lately. I don't want to do anything but the thoughts come into my mind anyway. I'm frightened to see how far lower I can go since I've been much worse before.
Is anyone else going through any deep depression out there and if so what are you doing to fight it. I can't do many exercises because my back is screwed. I can't stand this bouncing from depression to anxiety and back to the bottom, have you got any ideas about what I might do?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You can always go to emerg... At least that might get you a psych referral faster and if you need to be inpatient for a bit perhaps that's what you need to get stabilized
Big hug of comfort for you....xo
I ended up going into the hospital, and yes, it helped a great deal. I had a different shrink and he put me on prozac, which helped a little. It took a year of being kind of ok on that until they switched me to effexor and in like 2 weeks I was 1000% better.
Sending you massive hugs and support. You can pm me if you want to, I do understand how awful it is and just wanting to die to get over it. Remember though, it will pass. It always does. I recommend going to the hospital to get things jump started. xoxo
