no kids but married. not working out too well for me at the moment

Still married to the B####, 25 years and have a rotten butthead son who is 21.

I am a terrible parent that is all there is to it.

I'm not married yet, but I'm engaged. My fiance is instrumental in helping me with my illness. He helps me recongnize my behaviour before I say or do something horrible to him. And even when I do, he forgives me. Although I do feel like I'm constantly appologizing!!! I'm curious how people with bipolar have children. I don't want children yet, but what happens when I do??? There are so many factors that have to be addressed beforehand. The idea of being off my meds really scares me. How do you survive pregnancy???

Being bipolar makes me a better mother in many ways. My children are kind and generous. They are not judgemental. They feel safe talking to me about things because they see that I am open and honest about emotions. They talk to me about their problems because they know I understand what it is like to struggle.

I am a BP, married to a BP, a grandmother and very happily single!!!

My wife and I are currently taking a break. She can't handle my explosive anger. We have one child 6yrs. She is very supportive but can't take anymore, and I agree.

It is a hard journey weather your married with kids or not ..Have faith in your self..
