Yes and Yea again! Last time I was manic I went out and bought a 23,000 car....not cool. I did end up returning it for a less expensive one, but it took me nearly 9 years to pay off...minus the 7000 down payment. I put balances on a couple of credit cards.

If you have a trusted friend, or family member, I'd go that route. You could call up your credit card places and put a Freeze on the cards.

You could also call up gamblers Anonymous and ask for a sponsor, tell them your situation and you need help now. There is No Judging, just support.

Lol. I've done it with the cars multiple times. Buying them on a whim, thinking that I'm going to make money off of them, which somebody times I did, sometimes I did not. I also would buy furniture and sell it. My friends would laugh because every time I came over I would have a new living room.

As for going to gamblers anonymous, it works. Even if this is mania induced. I've been going to meetings. Good idea to get a sponsor.
