As a 100% manic 100% of the time I can honnestly say in the long run I don't mind the mania but every once in a blue mood would be nice to have a flat line day . i havent had one in years. Only time I am down is when physically sick and ssometimes thats not so fun - body wants to SLEEP and brain has other things planned
I had to do some research myself to find out more on this goddess.
Mania was the Roman Goddess of the dead which is not to be confused with The Greek Goddess of Madness that was also named Mania.
*She is also called the Mother of Manes which are the souls of the dead that become her children once they pass into the underworld. ( Creepy and so fitting for this month).
*She is the Mother of Lares, the Household Gods.
*She rules the underworld with Mantus, the God of the dead.
*In roman, her image was hung over doorways as a method to scare away evil spirit from entering homes.
