I`ve been going over all my past relationships and trying to figure out if there was actual love involved. I cant tell if I wanted them or the sex or the excitement of something new. Even when I was married I felt hollow. The only time I came close to feeling in love was when we were on a lil adventure or making love or when there was excitement. I know I sound like a horrible person But I dont know how else to put it. Any insight would be appreciated or any advice graciously accepted.

It sounds like you crave the 'high'.... There's always a crash after the high though

Finding stability through working with your doctor may not be as exciting however there is also something to be said for taking time to stop and smell the roses as opposed to riding the waves and it lasts

I don't know if you've ever been in love but I know that there's a lot more to it then sex.... Big hug for you B....x

I get what you are sayin. When I lived in Chicago for 3 years it was all about having sex with people I barely knew and partying all the time. Suncloud is right there was such a high from taking someone hoe that I barely knew. But then the next day I always felt like shit. I wasnt in love with any of those people. I may have thought I was buit that is because I had never experienced real love. I have been with my fiance now for 7 years. I know what love is now and that was not love.
