CUDAMAN
We have had a dog named Dutches she was a Catahula. What a wonderfull dog. She went down on Sat and she wouldnt let me move her she was in a lot of pain. I tried all day yesterday to have vet come out and put her down. She was paralized.
She bled out but kept living for days I felt so bad couldnt get a vet out here last night finally said sombody would come out here after 11.00 I just checked and she finally went so now I have to go bury her.
There was a Vet siminar some place and all the vets have left today what a shitty time for everybody to leave. There is very few vets left here. And this is a small town. I thought about shooting her in the head to put her out of her misery but I just couldnt do it I really love that dog.
She is about 17 years old I figured it out and she was 119 .
We got her as a pup in the early 90s
I dont understand why good people and animals have to suffer so much?
That is the million dollar question.
I am really down she was such a sweet sweet dog not a mean bone in her body:{
Sorry to put such a downer on here but I am very sad.:{
What a fucked up day

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Try to remember the good times with your pup. She must have had a wonderful life because you loved her so much. Just the fact that she lived for 17 years - old age for a dog - shows that she was well cared for.
I'm sorry for what the last few days must have been like for you. You did everything you could, please don't feel like you didn't.
Big hugs and prayers for you. Give yourself time to grieve and just feel what you feel. Sending you my love, MK.
Thank you so much:{
Thank God she is not suffering anymore.
I went out last night while she was alert and told her I loved her and she needed to go, I didnt want her to suffer any more I told her over and over she needed to go.
Man Im I sad.
I had to put down 3 dogs in 3 years...they were all my old loving dogs, who had been with me through manic /psychotic episodes.....it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
My heart is with you.
Know, you were a good and faithful owner and saw to her needs before your own.
Hugs
