Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
You did a good thing by coming on here to talk to people. I hope you get feeling better. You are loved and cared about, and that's something.
Sweetie, this is such a dangerous place and I know to talk about past is triggering, but you need to talk to someone that can help you through this. It is important that you dont isolate, which is what we want to do when we feel this bad. Please tell your husband how you feel and that you are very serious about it. Would you consider going to the hospital? If you cant get past these "planning" thoughts, it may be necessary. Try to find positive, uplifting things that you can do to try to take your mind from these thoughts. Maybe take your son somewhere or spend time with him playing games. Listen to uplifting music and try to push the suicidal thoughts out when they come. If this becomes too difficult, please call a crisis line or go to the hospital. You need someone with you.
I will be thinking of you..............xo
I managed to get a shower which helped for 5 minutes, I just need something to distract me I feel
I'm going to talk to my husband when he comes home from the shops and see what he thinks
Getting out our feelings is so important and crying can be a great help
You are in my Prayers
A big hug and a Blessing for you
It helps me to keep myself busy with other things but if the thoughts get this overpowering I am glad you are going to talk to your husband. He needs to know and understand the importance of how you feel. Please take care of you. xo
So why don't you just vent your heart out here, We've all been there done that so hopefully you could get some in-depth answers at the least and feel much better just by getting it all out.
I gathered you were mostly upset about the suicide ideation? If you ARE really considering it, then by all means, call the crisis line!
Feel better soon.
Hugs, Bobbi
I talked to my husband and although he doesn't understand he's going to try and help me get through this.
I'm glad I'm not the only one to feel unworthy or attention seeking, I thought it was just me.
I've put my son to bed now, he's tucked up safe and I'm gonna try keep myself busy online for a while.
