tegretol is a $4 med at Walmart, so I am going to try and get on it. I would like to hear everyones reactions on it.

I love it....have taken every med under the sun in my time...tegretol works great, for me.

I have been on tegratol for about 6yrs and it has helped me big time. my highs were really silly but the lows use to be attepted suicide on a weekly bases. then they but me on tegratol and after a month i felt a lot better.

You will get love and hate mail about tegretol. The first time I took it was not for mental illness but for a scratch that wouldn't go away. My arm was bleeding. So they gave me that and it worked. I ate a lot of it daily.

Fastforward to now, diagnosed with OCD, BD etc. I get it last year and this time it gave me an awful stomach ache. My stomach was in knots the whole three months I was on it. I found that if I coated my stomach with food it hurt less, of course I gained a ton of weight.

So does this help you? Hahahaha I thought so.
