I'm recently diagnosed bipolar. I have OCD my whole life, but bipolar diagnosis within the last year. I only know a few bipolar people and I've never met an ultradian cycler or someone with mixed states. I also have comorbid OCD. Is there anyone out there with this combo or with any of these states as well. I'm apparently a rarity according to my mental health center and docs. Yay, thats something to be proud of, right? Lol. I just need to know that others have ultra rapid or ultradian cycles. Or ocd with bipolar. Or any of these things. Thanks.

I have OCD w/Bipolar. My pdoc put me on Prozac for the OCD and it really worked! I was on it for years. No longer on it, and my OCD is under control!

I'm not an ultradian cycler, but a rapid cycler. I've also experienced mixed states in the past. Lamotrigine (Lamictal) has helped the horrible up and down... and it might help with anxiety overall (which I think is a symptom of under treated bipolar for me).

I also have a dx of GAD and other stuff... not OCD.
