Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

ive been single for nearly a year now. And recently I've become lonely for male companionship. A couple weeks ago a guy I went on just three dates with started emailing me on Facebook. I accepted the emails and one thing led to another and we went to a movie last night. He's a nice guy. A bit heavier than I am attracted to normally but he loves the outdoors hunting and fishing and he's kind and cari g and compassionate. We kissed last night. Not just a peck but a long passionate kiss. And it was amazing. But back to the loneliness. I want to make sure that I am interested in him as a person and not just because he is a guy that shows me some attention. He's made it clear to me that he is interested in me but I'm unsure. Does the very fact that I have to ask this question (interested or lonely) show the obvious? I need advice please. I'm gonna talk to my therapist about it tomorrow.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.
*throws confetti and cheers* Way to go, kisses! If even Half of us, out here in the world, learn that difference by the time WE are just 26 and still single, there might be a lot less heartaches, divorces etc in the world.
Thats good thinking, girl!
Enjoy the dates, learn about each other but KNOW what's going on before you make any commitments. :D
Now that I'm older and full of reflections....I think we learn and grow through all our relationships. There's a risk in love that it may not always work out but there's also that eternal hope that it will and remaining mindful through the whole process is the best we can do.
I know I'm going to go with my gut from here on out. I don't know if my reflections help you ponder these questions you currently have or just confuse it all (sorry haha!) but I wish you so much wellness on your journey. Big ((((hugs)))))
Don't take it to the next level until you have had 13 social encounters. I thought that was a lot at the time....but you know what? It helped me muddle through a lot of mixed emotions.
I wasn't that attracted to the guy who would eventually become my husband...a long the way I figured out we were similar in many ways and that we were really compatible. It gave us plenty of time to go on some really great dates...we liked music and art. We liked hiking in nature etc.
Each time you are together it will inform you....enjoy the time Kisses! Who said this was a race with an exact destination?
