I have an insomnia problem, and if not that, a over-sleeping problems.
It depends on the months.
Lately, I've been going outside to my back porch in the middle of the night, smoking cigarettes and waiting for my batty boy to call.
When he doesn't, I talk to myself.
I realize that no one is talking back, and I'm not having a real conversation.
I just pretend I'm having interviews with Ellen about my new book(A YA novel about a bullied girl who the Cool Guy falls for. All very cliche!)
or I'm with R-patz and we talk shit about the Twilight movies, and how much better our New Movie is(based on my screenplay)
It makes me feel crazy, but everyone is asleep so they don't know...and my dogs are used to.
I swear my dog Jasmine knows when I say something funny/sarcastic because she'll tilt her head to the side, and then bark!
That's just a side note.
Do you guys ever talk to yourself?
I'm starting to get scared that I'll like talking to myself more than I do with other people!
Before anyone asks,
yes, yes, YES
I AM TAKING MY MEDS!
I have Activan for anxiety(I'm not on the verge of panic attacks yet) but I think I need to switch it.
I still feel antsy- not anxious, but antsy AFTER I take Activan.
I just don't like anyone looking at me.
Thank God I wear my glasses all the time, so people won't see how I truly feel: The eyes are the windows to your soul, afterall.
Anyway, tell me what you guys think!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

When I was hypomanic last summer, I had lots of fantasies about being on talk shows and that sort of thing, so I get a bit worried when I read that on your post.
Maybe you need to set up an appointment with your pdoc and tell him what you just wrote in your post. I wish I had been more honest with my pdoc. Then maybe I would not have gotten as sick as I did. I don't know.
On all the best meds, and doing great - sleep, or hating to go to sleep is my biggest issue! Too much sleep is a depression thing.....
Thank God for the dogs, in case others do hear you! LOL
But I'm guessing that there's NOTHING wrong with it!!!
I think even a lot of 'normal' people do it.
I sometimes 'catch' myself muttering aloud or sort of half-talking/half-whispering my end of conversations I am imagining in my head.
And a lot of times I say things out loud, not speaking to anyone else. Just crap like, 'NOW where did I put the car keys?'
Or when I'm grocery shopping, '$4.99? They're out of their minds!'
And I smart off to the TV a lot.
Even though that's probably okay though, you should see about getting a med switch!!
When the pills start causing the very symptoms they're supposed to be getting rid of, it's usually time to change.
And it would be nice if your sleep got straightened out!!
Hahaha!!! I'm agoraphobic and can't bear the thought of people looking at me!! (Only in certain situations.)
My Pdoc told me to wear sunglasses!!
And it IS much better than without!!!
Good luck!!!!
My thinking was it's a problem if you hear a voice answering back that's clearly not your own and nobody's there.
Now typing to yourself...well that I'm not sure...and I've never texted or sent myself an email...unless the email was something I wanted on my phone...like pics and tunes and such.
Tdoc tomorrow...alot to cover in an hour...but she's always good if it goes 15 - 20 minutes into over time...she's such a good sport.
But I live alone and I"m all I have to talk to.
It's getting to be a bad habit though since some times I talk to myself in public.
Hope this is the right scene: I have no speakers right now
