I currently live with my ex. He can say things that are really mean. Little things he knows upsets me but will not f-ing listen when I tell him they hurt. he just says them over and over. When I tell him he is being mean he laughs and says no he isn't, or he is just joking or I misuse the word "mean". The things he say get to me though. He is kind of a bully and just picks and picks and picks at my emotions. He won't even acknowledge that it upsets me! He just gets mad that I'm hurt. wtf. I am so frustrated!!!! I can't even put how I feel in words.

Oh and the reason I still live with my ex is because we signed a lease together that isn't up until the end of May. After that I still have to stay a few extra months before moving out to Cali.

My therapist would probably saw that you cant change him only your reaction to him . ( ie change yourself). Not much help when you are in a difficult situation like the one you are in. Sorry you have to go through this .

As long as you dont have kids do you have an iPod? Plug it in and for get abot him, Do everything for yourself. Dont fix him dinner. Be in your room dont watch tv with him. It is only until May. Dont let him know he hurts you. Meditate. We are all here for you.
