Hello all, I've just started taking Lithium (one and half weeks) and have been having really vivid dreams. Has anyone had a similar experience when starting on Lithium? Do the dreams go after awhile? Thank you, Ian. PS. I am starting to feel more stable and that feels great!

I don't remember any vivid dreams when I started lithium but I was also taking anti-psychotics then. Of course lithium may be causing your vivid dreams, you're allowed.

Yup, I've been on lithium for years and I get really vivid dreams almost every night. Every so often, a really vivid nightmare :-/

No vivid dreams for me either. For a year and a half I didn't dream at all because of the antipsychotic but eventually my brain adapted and now I have the dumbest most inane ridiculous boring horrible dreams I want to pull my hair out. I never feel like I had a good rest. I'm just like, "thank God I'm finally awake."

Thanks for your input guys. So an anti-psychotic med would help stop the vivid dreams/nightmares? Which one? I was on seroquel for awhile and I think I did sleep better. Seroquel adds weight...oh, i pray for a future where drugs do not have side effects! cheers

Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
