I've had an awful cold for around a week now. I've been depressed the whole time. I think the cold is partly why I became depressed. I've done my best to get rest but the world doesn't stop because your sick. I still have to take care of my teenage son(drive him to and from school, fix his meals). He doesn't really know how to cook and doesn't seem to want to learn. I still have to keep up with some tasks like laundry or there will be no clean clothes or towels. This is what it's like being a sick parent.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

As for life skills.......I wonder if the school has something to teach that.
Good luck. I hope that you get to feeling better.
I'm manic as heck today and it doesn't feel good at all. I'm hyped up.
I agree
Having a wretched cold and bipolar just makes for an awful combo.
I've been drinking tea with lemon and honey, it's worked at keeping my sore throat and coughing manageable .
As for your son, get some easy frozen dinners, it is a good start on him learning to cook
Remind him to follow directions ! And NO metal in a micro wave
