Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
There are a number of reasons why I feel at this decision is best for both Tats and I.
For one thing Tats and I both seem to be going through similar ups and downs at the same time. Though I do not feel this is because of codependency, I feel like our biochemical brains seem to be in sync, which makes it very difficult for us to feel comfortable sharing what is going on with us at the present moment.
I also know that both Tats and I feel uncomfortable at times sharing on this site because the other person is also a member, by me going back to a former site that I used to use for support, Tats will once again be able to feel free to use DS in the way that she needs to I will fill free to use the other site to my best advantage without either one of us hurting the other person's feelings.
I will probably not close my account for a couple of days, as I have not talked with Tats about this yet.
I do want to say that I appreciate all of friends and support that I have received here on DS and only hope that I will get the same support and acceptance on the old site that I used to use.
Thank everyone for being here and for being the bunch of crazy SOB's that you have been.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
I certainly understand your reasoning... I hope the other site will give you the support you need
You can always come back under a new name and no one will know anything about you or your relationship?? perhaps

I do want to say I think what you're contemplating has sound reasoning behind it and the gesture of letting the butterfly free to flutter about at will. May she always return home to where her heart dwells in both comfort and sorrow...and may you always be there for her gentle landing.

Sounds like a good plan, but the cool thing about not burning bridges, and leaving before trouble - the door is open! If you don't get the support and friends you need, do come back!
You do have friends here, and we care about both of you - and appreciate you working on your relationship, and not letting us get in the way of that. A real life beats online - every time!!!!!
