I was put on Latuda after being on zyprexa for 5 years. Its not working out for me its been over 6 mos on it. I dont know what to do. Has anyone had good results with this med?

I take latuda and it's been a good drug for me ... 6 months is a good trial perhaps it's time to talk to pdoc to change med... no sense taking something that's not working .. we are all different our brain chemistry is varied so trial and error is important ... all the best on your journey ((hugs)) polar

Why did you stop Zyprexa? I have been on it 2 weeks. Helped mania but still depressed. Also today I noticed being dizzy and my vision is worse. Any ideas?

I thought it was giving me anxiety, but I think it was stress. I had no side effects from the zyprexa.

I think it's one of the stabilizers that make you a little higher..... I haven't been on it but was on Lamictal for a few months until a side effect took me off......
My pdoc suggested Latuda instead.... What I found was that I basically stopped sleeping and felt sort of wound up most of the time so I refused the Latuda

If you liked Zyprexa I would ask your pdoc to reorder it.... Big hug......xo

I am having great results on Latuda! It is one of the best meds I have been on other than Abilify.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
