What about interactions with other drugs like ativan?

To see if there might be Drug interactions, I always just enter drug inter actions on my search. There is a site that you enter your meds, and it will tell you if anything you are taking might conflict with each other.

35,000 patients using Lamictal, 520 had high blood pressure. That seems like a pretty low percentage to me .

I did not see if the Lamictal was the trigger for high blood pressure, or if this ratio would be considered pretty average in a general populous survey

I agree with daningd to check online about the drug interactions. I used drug.com for that usually.

I take Lamictal and am not aware of it causing high blood pressure. I had high blood pressure before being on it and it has not had any effect with my blood pressure medicine controlling my blood pressure.

hi there. i take lamictal & ive still got very low blood pressure but it does make me hyper & unable ta sleep so i take it when i wake up. hope that helps

Hi Katie, I am interested in your comment on the lamictal and how it is better for you in the morning. I was given a brief opinion I call it by the dr when they prescribed it for me and he recommended it at bedtime as it could cause drowsiness, what is your feedback on this? I have been taking mine after my last meal of the day, usually 6 or 7pm. I can't say that I've noticed it disturbing my sleep since I tend to not sleep good for the most part as I feel revved up. Maybe I should give some thought on trying it(200mg) it in the am. Thanks
