It all depends on how it makes you feel.
When I first started it made me sleepy, so I took it at night. Now I take it in the am with my vitamins and my abilify at night with klonopin. That's what I do, but I'd check with your doc first.
How long have you been on it and how is it working for you?
It seems to be a great med, I've been on it for almost 3 years ( went off it once during a bad manic episode).

My wife takes her Lamictal right after dinner. In the beginning, she took it before bedtime and it actually began to interfer with sleep. She also takes Clonazepam to cope with anxiety and sleep issues. She take 300 mg per day. Seems to be helping to a degree, but there are still episodes of Mania, but no as pronounced as pretreatment episodes. Also, due to nausea issues, she finds that taking this med after her evening meal helps stave off the extreme nausea that can happen. Hope this helps you!

I take mine at supper time and have had no problems with it actually it he;ps me sleep.

I take it 100mg morning and 100mg at night. Don't know if it helps, I'm going through hell from lack of sleep.

My daughter is on Lamictal and takes it in the a.m., when she wakes up...She don't get tired from it...Good luck! :)

When My Dr. prescribed it she told me to take it at night. She said that it will help me sleep that way.

I take 300 mgs in the am, along with my antidepressant but I don't take it on a empty stomach. Cereal or toast, something. If I have a hard time sleeping at night, I just pop a Lunesta.

100 morning 100 at night....... It doesn't make me sleepy.

I take 200 mg before bed.

I take mine about 9:15 to 9:45 at night. I normally work night shift. On the week ends when my sleep is off I cant get to sleep for about 5 hours. Tonight will be my first dose of 100mg witch will be fun to night at work.

I do think that the Lamictal cases short term memory loss for a day or two with me when I first start it or the dose changes. But that might just be me.

Im no longer on the Lexapro.

i take it with everything i take at night cause it makes it easier to remember to take it all... i don't know if it makes a difference though

I take mine in the mornign but then I also take my anti depressant in the morning. I think it just depends mostly on how your body reacts to it. But its really a question for yoru pdoc.

i definately couldent function if i took it in the AM it puts me to sleep..nite nite {)
