I have been in the hospital due to not taking my meds and having a complete meltdown. I got released today and feeling so overwhelmed. I have all my meds and will take them but I'm already tempted to go back to the partying I was doing before. I feel like they are just tossing me out in the world.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

p.s. I can be prone or tempted to do the same thing . Ouch it can be painful !?
If that's what you're describing it sure can feel overwhelming and unsettling in the same instant, and I know things improved over time in my case.
All the best to you

It takes some clean time before life straightens out, but until/unless you are taking your psych meds correctly, you will never become stable and will just keep digging a deeper hole.
I don't wanna tell you how to do things cuz I've been where you are many times and I truly know how hard it is. I'm just saying what's worked for me after years of doing things in ways that didn't work for me.
I wish you all the best and hope you get through this terribly difficult time quickly.
Do you feel you needed to be more stable on meds first? Or maybe rehab? (I've no idea if you need that or not).
I guess hospitals only cover the urgent and emergency and then, yes, they do send you home. Same with physical elements.
Then it's our responsibility.
I hope you can enjoy your 4th July without harming your well being.
If you felt safe and secure then the desire to party would be lessened do you think?
If so what steps can anyone take to make you feel more that way?
I can speak from experience that staying longer in the hospital isn't always the best solution. Fresh air is Good. Enjoy some nature if you are able.
