I am bipolar and taking abilify (7.5mg) but feeling so depressed and anxious lately I can't seem to connect with anyone so I thought I would come back here and hopefully find, we'll I'm not sure what but I'm trying to reach out anyways

That is what is so great about DS.

You can come and go as you need.
I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling well.

When I was on Abilify, I became quite agitated, and had to stop.

Don't give up on yourself , or your meds..some med out there is going to work

Thanks for replying, that's the first med I tried for bipolar and it turned my life around, I felt like myself for the first time in so many years so to feel like I'm plummeting is overwhelming and I don't know what to do, I just want to cry :(

I'm glad Abilify has worked so well for you.

Keep in mind, even when we have been stable , we can have breakthrough episodes.

Have you been under extra stress lately ?

How long have you been on Abilify, because sometimes a med will just stop working....yep...do we ever catch a break ? ! ?

I would talk to your Pdoc, this might just be a temporary thing

I will see my pdoc Monday and see what we can do, this is not my first depressive breakdown since taking abilify so it might not be working anymore, that happens a lot with different meds I take. I just have to make it through the weekend. Thanks again for chatting, it helps to talk to someone who can relate
