Something that's confused me since I was put on disability. Did this mean I couldn't work or shouldn't work.
I haven't been fired from every job I had but my last few jobs didn't last long.
The 1st job I was fired from was a receptionist job at a CPA firm. My boss was notoriously mean. He fired me so he could hire his niece. I was there for 4.5 yrs. The longest I worked at any place.
The next I worked as file clerk. The supervisor I started with was nice. He got fired and hired this elitist type. He fired me for "not fitting in". I believe it was because he made a mistake and had me take the fall. I wasn't the only one fired when he started. Several were fired before me. I was there 1.5yrs.
Next job was at an Arby's. I was doing ok. I got promoted to shift manager. They kept changing managers. They got this new regional mgr. who fire one of our good managers. She was an older woman. He seemed to like people in there teens and 20's. I was in my 30's. I started having a nervous breakdown at this time. That didn't help things. I was fired and told they were taking the store in a different direction. Last 1.5yrs.
Next was a Goodwill in Salem as a janitor. My boss was a strict, by the book type. It was clear she didn't like me. I worked for a few days then the nervous breakdown showed up, again. Was fired and told they had trouble with motivation. I lasted 3 weeks.
Then I started seeing my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and getting treatment.
I was approved for disability 2 or 3 yrs after that. I didn't need to get a job because my husband had a good paying job. He passed away because of cancer a few years ago.
Since then with the prices creeping upwards, the budget get smaller.
I went to Vocational Rehab. They got me a cashier's job at a Fred Meyers. I was fired and told they weren't keeping me passed my probationary period. I didn't get a definite reason beyond that.
I was at Burgerville for just over 3 months then the Coronavirus showed up. There dining rooms won't reopen until the end of the year.
I want another job but I don't want to keep losing them after a short time.
It seems so hard to keep a job these days
I'm a nice person, really. I don't want to toot my own horn but I'm a hard worker, a good set of ethnic and try learn what I can about the job. I have some other good qualities, too.
Can employers tell I have bp just by looking at me?
I'm so frustrated with the way the world works.

Some things we don't talk about, we breathe them... Some things cannot be explained, but rather experienced. Some of the most healing moments arise when given the memory, acknowledging the love. One cannot go back in time; we move forward, and we carry the love we shared. No one but ourselves has the power to do so, or the permission to do so, but ourselves. So live life with your faith and...

I've been feeling like I don't matter my wife the other day instead of telling me she was having a pain day when I went to have sex with her she tell me afterwards that she having pain day due to her fribromyalgia and making feel like shit afterward saying she has a list of things from past 9 years of thing for me to do and is always adding more and more to this list and talk...

Later they would use that information against me. i.e. stab me in the back. I am trying to get on SSID right now. I hope I get it.
My thought is the school system is going to be in a huge need for help...paid/ volunteering. Working with seniors, volunteering with senior centers or meals on wheels too delivering food. Library now have delivery service, as do pharmacy like CVS to deliver medications...or grocery stores to deliver food...those are areas I'm looking into. Totally different from school work, chaotic to just me and one on one....but still interaction...still getting me out of the house...my goal. After nearly three months I'm in another shift out of the worm hole, towards energy and living, I'm hoping and yes still have some fear surrounding committing to get my butt-tutie up and moving on a regular basis.
No doubt in my mind you've much to give..,,Starting With Giving To Yourself First :) Best to you Jenn, hang in there!!!
I agree with ml..... A lot of places will need frequent cleaning during shifts with Covid.... See what disability allows sweetiie..... xo
Deckhard, I wish you the best. Big hugs.
