YAY! I love snow! We haven't seen a snow here yet.:( Been too warm

Snowed here as well. Was out shoveling the snow for dad earlier this morning! Very invigorating indeed!

After years of therapy I can now get my snow fix by looking at photographs. I lived in Upper Michigan for a time and I got sick of scooping, shoveling and sweeping snow.

Snowing here. What a surprise. Not! Last one of the season?! I must be really bad to live in a place where May or June is the last day for snow. Two years ago, we had a snow the last week of May. I didn't have my garden in, but everyone who did lost everything.

Come to think of it, I lost all my tomatoes last year to a frost in June - the ones I grew from seeds indoors. At least it warmed up a bit today. Only -13 C or 9F. Just balmy!

We had snow. Worst since '85. We are the land of hills unlike the mid west I understand so it brings us to a screeching halt. We snow and then ice up and then snow again. People slide all over no traction the slide down hills with 4 wheel drive the the big SUVs think they are GOD but they spin out and cause accidents or run into barriers. I lovve it.

But we are heading into the 40s so now it is slushy and hopefully it will go away. we had 300,000 pp homes without power maybe until Monday. Poor poor people.

We didn't get much this year, just a couple of inches for a couple of days...but we could still get some. I loved the snow when I was younger. I snuck out in the middle of the night to ride my horse in the moonlight a couple of times...it was so magical and fun. And mom never knew!!! (I hope!) I still love the snow, but mostly from my apartment window. It is big, and I can lay on my futon right next to it and watch the feathery flakes come down. It's kind of hypnotizing and calms me for some reason. A cup of hot chocolate tops it all off!

Oh so cool!!! I love making snow angels :)

I live in Mn and we have about 2 inches of snow on the ground as opposed to most yrs at this time we have 2 feet on the ground. It has been a really mild winter and I'm loving it. I hate driving in the snow. it has been cold this past week, down in the single digits and below zero a couple days for the low. I can live with the cold. So everyone enjoy your snow, but please don't send it this way. LOL

For us here in PA we had very little but the Ice was brutal.
I miss my kids playing in the snow.
I guess that is what happens when they grow up.
Next is grand kids but that won't be for a long while.

I live in Calie and that probably precedes most of you with storms but not all states. We have a killer storm coming here in a day or so. It is said to dump a huge amount of rain and will flood many areas so it is safe to say most of you have a worst storm on the way.

I live less than a mile outside of Chicago. By Chicago standards, we ain't seen nothing yet!!

There's snow and then there's snow!!

The snowfall we had a little over a week ago was my favorite kind!!! Where the snowflakes keep their little crystal shapes, even when they land on you!!!! That looks so cool!!!! They're beautiful!!!!
