It's Saturday Night

and I have a friend who makes me feel like I'm a loser if I'm not out doing something fun. And I suppose I should be, But I just don't feel like it. I've been a recluse almost totally except work. I only go out with close friends and they have all moved away. I went out a lot when I was manic, but all I do now is stay home. And it's Saturday night.

You are not a loser. I am home too. I have been through phases where going out of the house if I wasn't going to work was out of the question. I have found things to do that are more fulfilling to do then go out to bars.

Saturday Night is just another day to me...i dont have to go out to feel "included" or "normal" whatever that word means...some days i accept the fact that i have my dis-eases and disorders...other days i get so down i contemplate suicide over them...just so you know, i think it's ok not to go out on Saturday Nights...it's ok to want to stay to yourself sometimes...i think if i just dont make it a habit, i'll be ok...i'm sorry you have a friend that makes you feel like a loser if you dont go out and do things....that must hurt...i dont think you are a loser at all...feel free to spend your time the way you please...

No, you are NOT a loser and you can't let your friend feel that way. If you feel like going out, go, if not, don't! I don't ever go out so we can chat w/ each other on Sat. night! LOL. I miss chat but love the live chat on groupbox. Come over there and chat with us!

Don't feel bad, I'm alone too. Cat got sick, I stepped in it. Melted plastic in my oven by accident. Night can't get much worse.

Some folks I know are having a party tonight and I wasn't invited when other friends were. Oh well. My lady is out of town so I'm batchin' it with my dogs (see avatar).

I'm playing guitar and eating a Red Baron supreme pizza. The dogs get the sausage and peparoni so we're all happy.

Saturday Night and I am locked in a room, avoiding as much human contact as possible. I don't feel like myself and would hate to burden anyone else with how I'm feeling. You're not a loser....just like the rest of us at home on a Saturday Night.

I can't justify getting drunk, I think it would just make my depression worse. I don't do drugs at all....and I don't have a single friend in this god forsaken state.
