Sorry to post so soon after my brother in law one. I was venting.
Anyway, on the 30th, the Doctor had me up my dose of lamictal from 25mg to 50 mg, after two weeks of being at 25 mg.
Last night, my upper thighs got really itchy with little red bumps, a slightly burning feeling. I showed my husband and said they look a bit swollen. I thought so, but I don't look at my legs as much as he does. They feel swollen to the touch too a bit. I called my doctor but she wasn't in, the nurse ( who is a direct but kind older lady) asked me some question, told me to take bendaryl and she will let the doctor filling in know and may call me back.
Earlier, I did feel some shortness of breath but that could of just been anxiety. by throat may feel funny, but I'm unsure. It may be in my head.
I feel like bawling because I was really starting to like this drug. I don't think my dose was strong enough yet because I still get irrational and some mood swings- ( I tell its like there are two of me in my head when that happens, the one that losing it over nothing and the other like you may be overreacting but unable to stop the crazy one- Sounds weird)
sucks. I want this to work.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

It was obvious that doctor thought I was stupid with the way he was talking to me and his diagram he made.
At this point, I don't think it is the serious rash- but it is a rash and I am so upset that he didn't care enough to listen and spend time with me.
All I want is acknowledgment of what is going on and of course, to be able to keep taking the lamictal- beside this miserable rash with all its itchiness all over, it seems to be an okay medication.
Ahh, it's so itchy, and its on some of my tattoos. I won't scratch on my tattoos since I don't want to ruin them- especially the mini portrait of my husband.
I've had several people say it's from stress. I dunno...
