TC if you are this depressed then you should be seeing your doctor... The only thing that I think initially helps with severe depression is a med tweak and then other things can be added later but it will start with seeing your pdoc IMHO... Big hug and a blessing..x

I have to say that as long as you see suicide or death as an option to problems it will keep you coming back here... Perhaps think of choosing life and see what may help from there... It helped me a great deal to take suicide completely off of the table... xo

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. We are all here for you and wishing you well. I agree with JD, taking suicide completely off the table is the best thing you can do. No matter how hard it is. I completely understand your feelings.

Of all the options available to us I think death is the one with the most limited options so forget that, please. Yes, your doc can help with the depression and I hope that works out.

My dr. Is a BI***. She returned my call ( 3 DAYS later after I left a voicemail). I tried to tell her how I am feeling. She totally blew me off. "We'll do you think you need a medicine change? I can't do anything until I see you. I can see you on the 21st". Wth. Whatever.

Is it possible to change dr.s. If you can, that might be the way to go. I know it's hard but you need what is best for you. Your need a dr. that is kind in compassionate aswell as knowledgeable. Hugs.

I'm truly sorry your hurting so much right now. If reaching out to your pdoc isn't giving you the help you need please consider going to the hospital. They can help. Also, keep posting here. u may have a chemical imbalance in which medication change could help u dramatically, there are reasons u feel the way u do, even though u do not like your dr- as I do not like mine- follow up with her until u replace her, set up the team around u with only the very best players..its very common ppl feel more down around the holidays, u are not alone. Is there a way to get a new doc? I know you're low on funds, so a community clinic if there's one in your area. Can you go to the hospital?

I felt the same way 2 weeks ago tried to commit suicide. Was in hospital 7 days. I know dieing is not the answer. Please talk to your DR they changed my meds and the thoughts are almost gone. Christmas is a hard time for me as well. I am sending you prayers and hugs.

Med change. I'm going w/a med change for you. You shouldn't be feeling so bad. Are you on ADs? Maybe a different one would work better. For now, forget the bitch that is you pdoc...just ask her about switching meds. I'm on 3 ADs..and that does the trick for me now.

Who ever you have been working with for job referrals you need to find somebody else....research, reach out, knock on doors but find some place that will treat you like a human being.

Can you go to the hospital? If not can you go to the ER or some other crisis alternative?
